Simplistic Applejack by MrMassMass Simplistic Applejack by MrMassMass
Simplistic Applejack stencil art on canvas 30x40cm (12x16inches). The colors aren't quite right but it turned out quite nice in my opinion. I feel that I could've done better but I'm still happy with the result.

Sprays used:
- Montana black -> Pan
- Montana black -> Syrian
- Montana black -> White
- Montana black -> Pure orange (bad choice, but turned out alright)
- Montana black -> Easter yellow
- Some crappy red can I had lying around in my garage
- Spray adhesive

Another very nice piece. Clean lines, colors applied evenly. I cannot spot any stripes or lumps, which is a big plus. I see you are learning the traits of canvas, as this piece is completely smooth, whereas your 'dark philomena' piece was rather wobbly; probably due lack of experience with the material at the time, am I right? So in that aspect it looks good. I have some teensy little points of critique. The picture seems a bit unbalanced, since all of its 'weight' is on the right. Had the orange you used not been so bright and had the colors of the background and the hat been reversed, it would have looked a bit more harmonious overall. Remember: bright, vivid colors always require a counter balance on the other side of the piece, which is why I prefer to use softer tones in my own pieces.

Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it. Yes you're right, shadow philomena was one of my first pieces, however, it was mostly my friend who made that. And I also agree on your color detail. I've learned alot about colors through experience and, unfortunately, I didn't have a proper orange color at the time.

I do now though; [link]
