Simplistic Dash by MrMassMass Simplistic Dash by MrMassMass
Simplistic Rainbow Dash stencil art made on 30x40cm (12x16in) canvas. 8 layers, 14 stencils due to how big every layer was. It took me a long time and alot of correcting but it's so worth it. This turned out much better than I expected.

Sprays used:
- Montana black: Pure Orange
- Montana black: Easter Yellow
- Montana black: Irish Green
- Montana black: Light Blue (background)
- Some crappy red can I had lying around
- Some crappy blue can I had lying around (mane)
- Old Montana Blue can (coat)
- Old Montana Black can
- Spray adhesive

Thanks, I used to make alot of mistakes and I've learned that you can avoid them by retracing a cut stencil that links to another layer so you can retrace any mistakes you've made in the previous cutting. And when I do make mistakes I just brush them up with a paintbrush; spray some paint on a piece of paper and use that paint on a brush to cover up mistakes. I wouldn't correct alot of mistakes though since the brushed on colors tend to have a different shine to them.

Yeah, I've noticed that using used brushes really messes with the colors and after i've used spraypaint on a brush you might as well throw them in the bin because you just can't get spraypaint off brushes. I buy lots of cheap packs of brushes to correct my stencil, use them once and then just throw them out.

Very smooth piece, executed with master precision. This deserves a feature. I'll submit a new journal entry right way.
